About

Real stories. Deep healing. Whole-person support.

Hi, I’m Anita — founder of May & Grace, a consultancy built from personal battles with severe depression, burnout, autoimmune disease, hypothyroidism, fertility issues, and motherhood challenges. I’m not here just as a professional — I’m someone who has been there. After years in civil engineering and project management, my real purpose emerged through crisis: unexplained exhaustion, traumatic miscarriages, and watching both my daughters battle serious health issues from birth that no doctor could assist with.

May & Grace was born out of pain, persistence, and a passion for helping others find clarity in chaos. Whether you’re facing fertility heartbreak, your baby’s growth concerns, or emotional struggles rooted in trauma, I offer holistic, real-life strategies to guide your journey. From South East London to wherever you are in the UK or around the world, you are not alone — and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

My journey

My health journey began in my mid-twenties, when I realised that feeling constantly exhausted wasn’t actually normal. One day, a colleague asked how I was. I responded, as I always did, with “I’m so tired.” His reply hit me hard: “You’re always tired. Every time I ask you, it’s the same.”

That comment was a turning point. I began researching chronic fatigue, and what I discovered changed my life. I learned about adrenal exhaustion and soon began connecting the dots to symptoms I’d been experiencing for years — including a large goitre from childhood and signs of hypothyroidism.

When my sister was later diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I dove even deeper into autoimmune conditions, nutritional healing, and the powerful mind-body connection. This eventually led me to study psychology, brain health, epigenetics, toxins, and so much more.

Empowering wellness together

A blend of science, strategy, and soul

Although I originally chose engineering for its stability, I was always torn between it and psychology. Project management gave me the opportunity to lead, motivate, and support — all things I now apply to health coaching. Over the years, I’ve earned an MSc in Project Management and pursued additional diplomas in psychology and counselling.

My research has taken me through the worlds of autoimmunity, brain development, mitochondrial health, DNA, heavy metal and mould toxicity, and more. But my biggest teachers have been my children — who’ve faced challenges like colic, asthma, sleep issues, and anxiety — and my own lived experiences of burnout, PTSD, and recovery.

Why I do this

Every time I speak with friends, family, or colleagues, I see how many people are silently struggling with their health. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn. That’s why I’m here — to help close that gap for others.

I may not have all the answers, but I promise to walk with you, guide you with empathy and honesty, and help you find the right path — so you don’t have to go through it alone.

My approach

My family wellness programs are designed to support individuals and families in nurturing their health, focusing on fertility, baby health & nutrition, and counselling. I provide guidance, support, and resources to facilitate a nurturing environment for overall well-being.

I take a whole-person, whole-family view — blending clinical insight with emotional understanding. That means looking beyond symptoms to uncover root causes, lifestyle patterns, and generational influences. Whether I’m supporting you through fertility struggles, a baby’s nutritional needs, or emotional healing, I create space for you to feel seen, heard, and supported. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan — it’s a personalised, evidence-informed journey that adapts as you grow.
